Post Competition Blues!!!!
A friend of mine competed the other weekend; she immediately got sick afterwards and has been out for a week. She says she feels horrible and won't compete in a few weeks - that she feels "soft" after working so hard and competing in excellent shape.
By contrast, I know I feel "off" if I miss a couple days at the gym.
My best advice would be to anticipate the cycles and that way you can be prepared for the changes. You don't want to be at your peak all year round, so look to the positives of building just a little more mass before you start to lean out again.
We all notice the subtle changes in our bodies; working with them should help make the transitions easier.
