i'm always surprised that guys are willing to move massive amounts of weight with bad form rather than move significant weight with great form! (scapular retraction & engaging the core is so key to form along with head & neck positioning...)
never compromise your form for weight! not even to impress someone, especially if that someone is you! there are newbies in the gym watching when you don't know, and if you're too caught up in the weights than doing it right, then they'll just copy you!
kinda like it's been said earlier, "Go big or stay home!" or "Go HARD or go home!", i say, do it right or don't do it at all! either that or "coming through! get out of my way!" (just kidding on that last one...)
i'm happy to say that i'm finally moving the stack for tricep pressdowns with v-bar, but i didn't start there... with strict form, focus & determination, it's amazing the progress you'll make!
