The best training books?
I know this has been covered before but I'm asking for a different reason then usual. I'm working on a web page that does 2 things. First it's a chart that shows corresponding percieved exertions, heart rates, speeds, training zones for different systems ( e.g. lactate threshhold), etc. Secondly it will allow you to put in a variety of measured heart rates or speeds from testing ( the tests which come from the books for which I'm asking for recommendations ) and it will automatically calculate the training zones ( heart rate, speed, or RPE depending on the particular methodology of the particular book ). I have several good books at the moment but wanted to make sure I didn't miss any which have good, scientifically based training plans. Yes...it's true, I am both a sports physiology nerd and a computer nerd.
Does this sound like a useful tool to anyone? Perhaps one already exists and I'm reinventing the wheel.
Thanks,
C!
