First, you need to start bringing your own food to work. Eating healthy is cheaper than eating out in most cases. Lean meat, veggies, and keep the complex carbs to a minimum.
2nd) If you are having trouble getting to the gym, start walking in the evening as a substitute for the corn flakes. The shape you are describing yourself in actually has me concerned.
3rd) If you have no othe choice to eat out, get a salad, or go for the hamburger patty without the chips ( I assume you mean a fried potato of some sort) and without the bun and ketchup.
I have a limited amount of time as I'm at lunch but others will weigh in here-I'm sure.
