Aspartame actually stimulates appetite like sugar. Splenda has been found to be much less of a culprit, and most endos (Drs who deal with diabetes and hypoglycemia) recommend it for their patients. I use Splenda in small amounts (I'm a bland oatmeal hater ) and I use Stevia. Stevia is an all natural sweetener and is the best choice out there, and doesn't have the detriments of aspartame.

Here is an alternate suggestion. First, you can make up green tea concentrate yourself and add to the bottled water. I know it's not as convenient as the pre-packaged products, but this way you are in control over your intake. I keep green tea bags at home and at work. For cold tea, I keep a container of really strongly brewed tea and add to taste to water. If you want a sweeter taste, try Stevia.
