Like Toonces said, your bad decisions will only hurt your own team. That said, just try to have fun and as long as you don't totally blow off managing your team, you should be fine.
I'm sort of a fantasy football nut. I have won the championship in a keeper league 3 straight years and I usually am unable to be online live for the draft - I just take what yahoo automatically gives me (with a few modifications in the pre-draft rankings)

. Fantasy football also has a lot of luck involved IMHO... see Toonces situation with Tom Brady last year.
Lastly, I think the best thing about fantasy football (and any other fantasy sport for that matter) is that you become even MORE of a fan of the game. I follow players on teams I don't like much, and I'll keep my eye on games that I normally wouldn't give a second glance at simply becaue I or my opponent has a fantasy player in the game.
