Cardio and whey protein
Hey all, i'm new to this site and everything and i'm seeking some advice...i have a pretty strenous cardio routine i guess you could say, i run 2 miles at about 8.5-9mph and then i walk for about a tenth of a mile and then sprint another quarter mile and then walk a tenth and then sprint until i get to about the 3-mile mark. After the cardio i usually go do some abs and then hit the weights...i'm about 5'8" and 140lbs but used to be about 170lbs..i feel like i've hit somewhat a plateau in both the weight deparment of my workout however and i talked to the owner of my local gym a couple weeks ago about whey protein shakes, not the rtd 50 gram shakes but the ones you can make at home and stuff, i've been drinking one or two a day for the past couple weeks now and am not really noticing any gains or any more definition...my question is should i cut back on the cardio? but also i really dont want to get bulky or gain more mass foresay, just get more defined...thanks for all the help in advance
