Default Minute Miles

Around how many Minutes should it take to Jog a whole Mile?

Around how many minutes does it take to Walk a Mile?

Both at a steady Moderate speed.

I think it would take about 20 minutes while walking (3 mph) and 8-10 minutes while jogging !

But jogging varies a lot from one person to another

everyone is different. The standard for most runners is about 8 minutes for long runs. It doesn't realy matter at what pace you run it as long as you feel relaxed. Everyones body has a different base point which means that if I have never done any exersize and you had never either our bodies are programmed to run a mile at different paces. When I say 8 is standard I'm being very rough. My wife averages about 8:10 and my sister averages about 7:40. I average 6:40 and my dad averages 7:20. That's a prety good range I would say. I'm really babeling now but mostly I want to get across that it doesn't matter as long as you feel good doing it.
