Pole Dancing as Fitness
i heard this is really good for female bodies, and is an all over body workout. i suppose when you look at a lot of strippers bodies, they are all extremely toned and fit.
has anyone here tried it out or had any results or reports. thought i t may be interesting to talk about

I did one of those hens nght pole dancing classes and the teacher looked insane. Absolutely amazing. MUSCLY! and soooo toned. The greatest bum i have ever seen in real life, big quads and hams, nice little tricep dent, she looked absolutely unreal!! absolutely insane honestly!
I've seen some other that everyone goes "ooh shes so toned" but i cant see it, this lady did used to go to the gym, but pole dancing was enough to maintain her muscle! she still ate junk food!!
I dont know if she was just saying that to try and get me to join, or what but ive never seen a lady look that good in real life! And i so would have joined if it wasnt 50 bazillion dollars!!! and i want to get bigger still so maintenance would be a bit silly. But for normal ladies this would definately work!
you have to hold your self up by your legs and pull your body up (abs and inside leg muscle!) there are times when you hold your whole body out from the pole (soo much upper body!)
seriously... its totally awesome! and SO much fun!

It sounds to me like what I see in your pictures.....
I can see how any regular strenuous dance routines would be good for staying fit, a more acrobatic type like pole dancing even more so.
However, as you pointed out about the junk food girl, just because one may look fit does not necesarily mean one is healthy. And we all know that one girl, that could eat any food, in any amount and still look amazing. I'm not even female and all I can say id, "I hate her..."

Hey I never tried pole dancing, but I have Carmen Electra's striptease workout and I love it! Some of the dances are harder than others, so I get to pick the intensity I am in the mood for! I highly recommend them.

for gym music and workout music, I recommend european dance music.......
it's ALWAYS the best motivational tool for me...
.....and you don't have to tell anyone at the office if u just listen to it on the mp3 player at the gym ....
.... here's a compilation series on itunes that I recommend:

making muscles and parts of your body do things they arent used to for extended amounts of time will make them sore, that doesnt mean it was a great workout, it just means she hasnt used her body parts in that way before or you pushed them past their limits damaging muscle tissue prompting protein systhesis for repair.
