weights for cardio
hi there guys
been away for a while, but working hard ho hum
playing with free weights right now and finding that my workout has become real heavy on the carido becasue i am doing large movements i.e. pick the bells from the floor to over my head and so on and made me very happy. nothing like having to crawl out of a gym after a session
but i am running out of ideas minly i want to build core strenght and fitness. anybody got anything good?

Hmmmm....maybe you are getting to a point where you need to
A)Get a personal trainer
B) Up the anty with your diet
Sounds like it's time to take another leap for muscle kind!

waterdragon - I think you are doing the right thing. LOL. But if you are running out of ideas, you should check the folks at bodyweightculture.com or check Ross Enamait's website (rosstraining.com). Check the clips Enamait has put in his website and youtube. Pretty cool stuff.
I like Enamait's stuff, and I recently purchased "Never Gymless" and "Infinite Intensity". This dude has stuff that's insane... insane in a very good, cool way.

Hit a tire with a sledge, try and get to 20-30 mins doing it. Or you could do what Ross does and do a Tabata style workout with the sledge.
BRUTAL workout and the core/shoulder/grip exercise you get from swining a sledge is amazing. I have a 30lber and a 60lber that I got on Christmas from my dad. He got them here www.torqueathletic.com just incase you wanted to no.
