Hi just wondered if anyone can help me on this issue.
Ive been body building for a year now and put on quite allot of access fat though my protein intake
Ive heard that if i do to much CV fitness i will burn away my muscle as well???
Just wondered if anyone knows if this is true or not?? and how i should go about loosing the fat.
Thanks Tom

If you're eating so much extra protein that you're putting on fat, you need to dial down your protein intake.
All exercise has the ability to burn fat, but first you need to put your body in a calorie deficit. So you'll need to modify your diet.
Cardio work can catabolize muscle, but so can weight training. Just aim for 20 minutes, 3x a week, at moderate intensity, and not only won't you lose muscle, you'll be in much better condition.

Not as long as you keep it reasonnable, like 3x20min/week. If you do 3h jogs, you prolly would

vary person to person, depends on intensity, calories ingested vs calories burnt, what you do for a living, how much protein to eat, and the color of the cat... Basically, way too many variables Keep an eye on your lean weight, total weight, and adjust accordingly.

If the weight that you're lifting begins to go down, you're losing muscle. If your measurements begin to go down while your weight remains even, you're losing fat. If the weight you move goes up and your measurements go down, you're gaining muscle and losing fat.
If you're not recording your lifts and measurements, you really need to start. Record your workouts, and take measurements every month. Take pics, too - just keep 'em away from prying eyes.

HIIT is, imho, the best way to try and burn bodyfat whilst holding onto muscle.

you dind't put on extra fat becaus eof your protein intake. It would have been a result of the carbs and fat intake.

After rereading, I think you'll get alot more results from spending more time on your diet than more time on your exercising.
