No, I didn't get any shots of DeeAnn, although I did she her there at the EAS booth later in the day. She looked great, as always.
Overall I really enjoyed the show - I enjoy the Women's show more than the Men's, mostly because since they moved to the shorter Pay-Per-View format it's not as exciting as the longer running Women's show. Plus there is only one pose down in the whole Men's Finals, where there used to be several (and those can provide the most entertainment).
The EXPO was a bit better than last year's - some companies that were absent from last years came this year and there were some new booths as well (bodybuilding.com had a great location and a nice setup, kudos to them for such a great effort!). I only encountered one "booth bunny" who was rude about having her picture taken - everyone else was so cool. More than a few knew about our site, too (not always in a positive way, but more about that another time).
Grace Grimes, Karen Z and a couple others were on hand as well (Karen Z got her pro card this year and might compete in next year's Arnold - way to go, Karen!)
I met up with Nadine Baker (resident EF BABE) and her husband (also an active poster here) - turns out they were in the seats directly in front of me at the women's show. We were going to head out for drinks, but after 6 hours of driving and a good morning workout, I started to crash towards the end of the show. I also got a wicked headache that was hard to shake all the next day.
Another good year at the Arnold - can't wait til next year. Maybe I'll try to get better seats next time - something closer to the stage....
