FDA warns dieters: Stop Hydroxycut use now
WASHINGTON - U.S. government health officials warned dieters and body builders Friday to immediately stop using the Canadian-made supplement Hydroxycut, linked to cases of serious liver damage and at least one death.
The Food and Drug Administration said the maker of the dietary supplement has agreed to recall 14 Hydroxycut products. Available in grocery stores and pharmacies, Hydroxycut is advertised as made from natural ingredients. At least 9 million packages were sold last year, the FDA said.
Dr. Linda Katz of the FDA's food and nutrition division said the agency has received 23 reports of liver problems, including the death of a 19-year-old boy. The teenager died in 2007, and the death was reported to the FDA this March.

Its garbage neway.
Clean diet, cardio, weight training. . .
ECA if you need an extra boost.
Most of the people I know who have tried hydroxycut didn't follow the 3 key factors of weightloss.. diet, cardio and weight training. . So they really had no business experimenting with weightloss supps . . Pointless, waste of $.
I've met several people who used hydroxycut and I think the ones who did lose some weight with it, experienced a placebo effect. . And none of the weight loss was anything hard to acheieve without hydroxy. .
Most of them were still overweight, or the ones who lost a good amount of weight became "skinny-fat". .
In my opinion weight loss supplements should only be used temporarily to get rid of those last few stubborn pounds. .
What's the point in taking fat loss supp if you're 200lbs voerweight? You'll likely take it for long periods of time and when the weight does come off you'll be dependent on it, probably put the weight back on when you stop. .
Might as well get into the healthy lifestyle first, establish good habbits, and possibly trying something like ECA once you've made most of your fat loss goals naturally

Yup! You wanna lose weight? There is only one way. Diet and exercise, and it aint easy. But then nothing in life worth having comes to one easily. Too many people looking for the easy way out, pop a pill and "Look! I'm thin!" Only in fairy tales....

Hydroxcuy going down the same route of ephedrine. None of these magical weight loss supplements are ever safe.
I agree with the Prof. Work hard, and sweat off those pounds in the gym.
