I like the bike but dont think it was a very wise choice to use the XCP75 front fork, it's quite affordable but I think it would be better to use a more expensive fork with better preformance.
My mate brought the 2005 model, it's a good frame with okay general kit, the MPH3 disc brakes are good, they need zero maintenance and are dead easy to adjust. All in all it's a damn good bike and ready for upgrading.

It is a nice bike, It won bike of the year a couple years ago. The only flaw in the bike is the rear suspension. It does not bob, but if you pull the rear brake the suspension does not move at all. Mountain bike action called it a stink-bug effect.
