Hey toe here,
And toe is pretty close to my real name too. I'm just another desperate asian looking for some love and hoping to find some here. Being 5'11, I'm pretty tall for an asian but like them skinny as a twig. Currently I'm busting my ass off doing reports after reports at Vanderbilt University (Another smart asian, what a surprise) . Well anyways, I'm new at the whole forum thing but just learned how to post my own pictures yesterday. Hooray for me! I'm a quick learner and hoping to contribute as much as I can. Just thought I should say hi being a newbie and all.

You probably won't find love here but you may find some decent fitness advice!

Love the site.
I'm 34 5'9" and 210. I've been working out on and off most of my life, but have gotten really serious about it over the past 3 years. I can't stay away from the gym.
I would describe my training style as strict and heavy. Very strict form with as much weight as humanly possible. I usually change my routine every 8-10 weeks to make sure that I can cause growth and I'm always looking for as much input as possible.
My philosophy, anything worth having requires hard work and dedication.
Personel: I live in Colorado, married with 3 kids 17, 13 , and 8. The 17 year old is a girl (another reason why dad works out so much).

Like Toe, I'm a newbie here and tend to be built like a stick, but I'm trying. I'm 37, 6' and 170lbs with a metabolism like a rocket ship. My wife doesn't sympathize and says how lucky I am, but it's tough when you're working out and trying to gain. I live just north of New York City in the 'burbs. Great to have a resource like EF to bounce off some ideas and hear what works for others. I'll contribute as much as I can, given limited free time. Later!

Pro Fitness Competitor and Trainer Linda Cusmano
Hi all!
Great board! Just thought I would say hi and who I am.
I have competed for over 10 years in Fitness, Figure, Bodybuilding, Obstacle, Strength, and model divisions as well as coaching other competitors, athletes and being the owner and trainer for Body Rush Personal Training located in Vancouver, BC and online, it is a mobile service.
My contest resume is at www.fitnessteambc.com at the About link. My fan site is down right now but up soon! I avidly coach competitors as you can see, but train anyone who needs.
I enjoy kickboxing, inline skating, hiking, jogging, biking - its summer so that is what I like to do on an off season - I am not competing this year, taking it off. I also enjoy dance and gymnastics more during my on season.
I was to compete in kickboxing in 2001 but had a car accident the Aug before and so I did a few bodybuilding contests so that I did not sit out that year but could not do fitness or kickboxing as my back and hams were screwed for a few years after. THe bb contest I did was trial, so I did not go in at peak, too scared if I got that lean it would cramp and spasm as it was already doing that from injury and even with the water I held I still hurt for months after from the posing.
I love animals and advocate for them, such as pitubulls which are a favorite of mine and the breed of dog I have owned for 15 years - with no problems! I love all dogs though and have other breeds to and will always have dogs. I want to have a lab one day, shepher, dobbie, dane...........we love dogs in my home!!
I prefer a vegetarian diet but eat fish pre and on season, this year I am lax in supplements, diet and lifting - but if you went to see my contest schedule from the last 10 years of placings and wins you can see I need the rest and well deserve it! Don't want to burn out!
Okay enough, that is long and don't want to bore y'all!!!
Linda

At the risk of being a bore, I'll say it again: Welcome, Linda
Sounds like you have a lot to contribute, both in diet and training and in rehab. Glad to have you aboard!

"Please allow me to introduce myself...", ( just an old Stones fan).
Data: Age: 54, Wt. 137, Ht: 5'6", Bf: ~11%.
Doing a 5-way split- Chest, Shoulders, Arms, Legs, Back in that order. Been working out off and on since the mid 60's, like when Sergio Oliva was in Muscle & Fitness, or some rag...didn't do much in the 70's, but got back into it in the mid 80's and have been fairly consistant since then. Still learning alot though; mostly on a mass routine. I'd like to put on another 10 or 12 lbs. ( the most I've weighed was 148, out of USMC boot camp in 68'). Actually, I don't see why I couldn't see 160 if I work hard. Had my testoserone level checked about two years ago and it was 1271, which, I was told, was above the high end of normal...so, muscle gain shouldn't be a problem, even at my age.
Good site, I've gotten alot of good info so far...

Sorry Old Fart, I've been posting for a while now and it's the first time I've checked out the bodybuilding threads. I almost feel like a know a lot of you,
I'm married (10 years) with two girls 7 and 9. I grew up in San Jose, CA and have lived on the east coast ever since I went to CIA in NY where I met my husband. I am a chef by trade, now a full time mom and gym rat. Growing up I always ran long distance and weights. I now do Triathlons and doing my first full marathon in Oct.
