Nothing Hurts like Pain
I wasn't too sure where to post this, but I'm guessing if the mods want to, they will move it.
However, I have a question. What do you do for pain that is associated with, and can hamper training?
I deal with quite a bit of constant pain due to heel spurs, but I have a tendon issure that won't go away, and for the first time in my life, I can curl more with my left arm than my right. I'm barbell curling with only 100 lbs due to the pain. I've tried laying off, I'm doing acetomenophen, naproxin, and ibruprophen together. Now I'm just training lighter, which pisses me off.
Let me know what works for you.

Ahh yes, the nagging injuries. I have "golfer's elbow," I never play it, and I hate golf! You have to work around injuries, finding exercises that do not aggravate it and still allow you to get a good workout. Many times, changes in angles and exercise selection can take away the aggravation, and then the injury can heal. RICES is the new acronym for injury car with Rest, ICE, Compression, Elevation and Supprt/Stablization. You have to be proactive in injury care, but some are more difficult than others. Consistency and localized heat/cold, combined with stretching and strengthening usually rule the day.

deca.. huh? what... lol jk take it easy man, healing takes time and rest... ive recovered from a broken back, and now im bigger and stronger than ive ever been, but its a matter of patience. dont do things that will irritate it, and listen to painless2, if its really bad.. maybe you should check out the doc, get an MRI... but to each his own

I, too, have been plagued by various injuires (more annoyances than injuries) over the years and have learned to vary my routine; doing exericises that just don't aggravate the injured area. Generally, it gets better and I go back to whatever I was doing before.
There have been times where I have just completely laid off on a body part and used the opportunity to really hit something else.

Oh, I can train around it, if I don't want to train bi's at all. I'm experimenting with MSM now. I'll let y'all know if it helps.
