Default Lack of Salivation over healthy foods.

I have a problem. While trying to eat healthy, I eat steamed vegetables, lean meats, and rice, etc. The problem is, my mouth won't water, and I end up chewing on the food to I gag. I can be pretty hungry, yet have a hard time finishing a meal. I am on the Body for life diet.

Got a feeling your not enjoying your food, either learn to enjoy what your eating or do some experimentation, try different recipes or alternate foods.

I used to hate tuna (used to have to force it down) but after eating as much of it as I have a weird thing happens when I get hungry I usually being to wonder where the tuna is and I like it directly out of the can.

Ditto. It just takes time. Most people who eat a lot tend to eat the same stuff day in day out, so as tqg says you need to just find what you like and what you can stick with for a while. I was once at a stage where I was eating maybe six tins of tuna a week and it never got on my nerves. I've gotten to the stage now where I couldn't care less about flavour -- all I want is NUTRITION!!!
