Kebab, Fish 'N' Chips or Pizza
I keep coming across this dilemma and can’t make a decision, I keep telling myself that you have to eat what you want occasionally but what junk would you go for?

When I cheat, I cheat big. I actually don't like junk food that much but I can easily put down like 2000 calories in a single meal. My favorite cheating destination is Sparks Steakhouse in NYC (the infamous Sparks where mobster Paul Castellano got whacked by John Gotti's crew back in '85). I will eat the biggest NY Strip they have (rare ofcourse), hash browns, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, onion rings, a huge slice of authentic NY cheesecake and finish atleast a bottle or two of a nice Napa Cabernet. The only thing even close to healthy I'll eat there is the classic steakhouse salad of tomato & red onion. I go there maybe once every 3 months or so. That is cheating.

You live in NYC, right? Then definitely a Kebab from one of those stands on 5th Ave. You can rationise the purchase because of all the protein in there for only a few dollars. And they taste so damn good.

I live in NJ about 45 minutes outside of NYC but I go in atleast once a week for work. The street food is awesome at a lot of places, but you have to watch what you eat or you'll end up on the toilet all day. They just had the vendor of the year awards for all of the stands in the city and one of those kebab guys actually won.

Im in England, and by the way i had fish and chips with a big hunkl of bread! took me 25 min running this morning before it felt like i was back to normal, funny how a small diet change can effect how you feel so much.
Im gonna have to come to NYC sometime - just for the food they say you get your moneys worth!

Im in Scotland, and I just love to go to McDonalds when I feel like cheating. The food never fills you up, but there are few things out there that taste better than a McChicker Premiere.

When I cheat I go for steak as long as it is very rare with a good pepper sauce.

Pizza all the way!
Living in the Chicago burbs I go with the deep dish pizza. I can only eat like 2 in one sitting with a beer or two but I don't even want to know the calorie count in em....

Here in the northwest US, we have a bit of everything. However when I really want to cheat, I head for the chinese food buffet that includes sushi and crab legs. I also plan a nap afterwards because 30 minutes later-I'm not hungry again-I just want to sleep off the carb spike.
PS: GO SEAHAWKS!

I detest junk food, so my only real cheat is frozen mini-pizzas. (and even they are surprisingly healthy when microwaved.)

A question of necessity
ok...i had a question...
do most of u guys here eat 5000 calories a day?
As this is what is required, why not just eat when ur hungry?
5000 calories is way too much, those who agree, agree, those who disagree, correct my noobish thoughts.

Hercalees's description of the steakhouse meal doesn't sound like a bad deal either... but, I don't think any oraganized crime bosses have gotten whacked in front of the 5th Ave. kebab stand.
The kebab guys seriously do have a good thing going. I try to eat pretty clean, but they've won me over more often than I want to admit.

PIZZA!! I could be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, being as I love pizza. Pizzaria is good, but Digornio is AWESOME! I could eat those for every meal and never get sick of it.
As for other cheating, I don't cheat with deserts. Just going out with the old lady to a restuarant that won't have anything "good" but not total cheat. A little extra cardio will suffice.

Since we are talking about cheat foods, I have to confess my weakness: bacon. I feel like I am killing myself every time I eat it. I don't have any in the house-- I would eat it every day if I could. There is a smoked variety from Belgium-- it's so good.

When I cheat it's Chicago deep dish or a 24 oz prime rib.
