3 Months Cutting Phase
Hello,
I have decided to start cutting after a little bulking. I am going to do track 5days a week and workout at the gym 3-4times a week. I am wondering about diet and supplements.
I was thinking all the good cutting foods...carbs in the morning...protein after lunch until bed...2800calories a day (6'4 185lbs). Supplements i looked at are EC, BCAAs, glutamine, creatine, protein and also lipo-6, and gnc multivitamin.
Does this sound good. How should I eat before a cardio workout for lose body fat?
When lifting; high reps or low reps?
Any help appreaciated
Thanks,
Axel

granted I dont know as much as some..but given your weight. 2800 seems like ALOT of calories for a cutting phase? some food before cardio...nothing too outrageous. no high impact cardio though

Eat protein all day long, not just after lunch.
Lift hevay for low repos on one day, and follwo a more standard bodybuilding routine on your other workout day.

your cutting at 6'4 185lbs? is this right?
anyways, kcals around 2000-2500 high protein
i would recommend 3day a week lifting, full body routines, 1 day heavy, 1 day light, 1 day medium
cardio and the other 3 days or following lifting should vary, treadmill, tabata etc

Weight and height is correct.
If I do 2000calories a day, wont i lose a lot of muscle too then?
Full body huh, is there a specific program that you could recommend, there are a couple in the stickies.
No one has commented on supplements. Please do.

Of course you will. When you gain muscle mass, it's impossible not to gain even a little body fat along the way. Similarly, when you lose body fat, it's impossible not to lose a bit of your muscle mass along the way, which is why you need to have the correct mindset when training to get ripped.
Re supplements -- I don't take supplements, so I'm afraid I can't help you with that.
