Core Lift question
Hey all,
I usually do my benching, squatting, dead lifting, and leg pressing on the same day, and I was wondering if this was a mistake. I will usually do these core lifts 2-3 times a week, and take the other days off because I have rugby practice those days. Should I be splitting up the different core lifts for different days?
Thanks!

wow! I myself do not have the energy to do them all in the same day. I do bench on one day
squats and leg press on another and deads on yet another. If it is working for you and you are seeing gains then it should be fine, you are taking enough days off that overtraining them should not be a factor. I myself split them up so that I don't run out of energy plus the fatigue from these exercises take away from my other exercises. I try to do them first, before the isolation exercises and I try to only do one compoud movement per lift day.

Nothing wrong with it in my book -- I love full-body days; it's exhausting, but fun.
(Don't forget the pullups and rows)

as said before if you can handle it and it isnt draining you excessively to do your rugby, there shouldnt be any probs.

I like full body workout days. I do circuit training every Sunday. It normally includes:
- 1 hour of HIIT Cardio
- 2 hours of Weight training
The weight trainiing includes 3 exercises for each body part, but of course at moderate weight.
If you are seeing results and gains, and it doesn't interfere with rugby and anything else, then it shouldn't be a problem as others have said.

it helps keep up the endurance also by getting your body used to extracting massive amounts of energy daily.
