Experiencing Heart Palpitations
Since I've been starting again for about 1-2 weeks lifting consistently again my heart palpitations have been occurring more and more often, but only mainly during workouts. I'm assuming these are normal to feel, especially when I usually get them doing cardio.
My palpitations go away after about 5 seconds while trying to catch my breath.
I'm just wondering should I be worried at all?

Me too! I went to see a doctor I wasnt sure whether it was anxiety attacks or if i was extremely unfit! turns out it was low blood pressure and some anemicness - heart was just working overtime to get oxygen to the brain. I'm sure that's all it is

I did in fact see my school doctor. It was exactly as I diagnosed myself, heart palpitations =/. The thing is the doctor said my heart beat was fine and I even did an EKG, but the test were inconclusive and I had to give away 3 viles of blood. I'll find out for sure what I have this Thursday though. Sadly I do experience them every time I run now, so I'm a bit worried.

Of course they're inconclusive -- an EKG when you're at rest, to diagnosis a problem that's exercise induced?
If you've actually got a problem (no idea, I'm not an MD), they'll put you on a tradmill AND hook you up to an EKG, or something.
But I'd stop running until I got an answser.
