You read that correctly.
Video: Good Morning Yahoo!
Hats off to the little guy! Wish I could do free-standing handstand push-ups!

I don't know...I've always heard it can be very bad, long term, to begin resistance training that young.

Can't resistance training done too early stunt growth later on? I thought there are implications with the growth plates...that's why weight training isn't typically performed in most sports until after / around puberty.
It's cool the guy is focused on something so early, but hopefully he is training the right way and not potentially risking is future physical health. Who knows, maybe he'll be the Tiger Woods of bodybuilding in 10 years.

Wikipedia says he's basically done. I guess he's still working out but his appeal has waned due to being 16 now.

I was involved in some 'Little Hercules' discussion somewhere on the internet - maybe here? - and I think that the short version was he and his mother claimed that his abusive father was dosing him with steroids. Rough story.
And yes, I think Arnold talked about how just playing sports and doing gymnastic stuff was all that was necessary until puberty/high school -ish ages: I mean, how can you get a response from testosterone until you've got testosterone!

Yeah, this is what I thought back to after watching the vid. I remember he benched like 200+lbs while 8 years old. I think he's really out of shape now.
As for this guy, he is a beast.
