Remodel
Hi everyone! Thought I'd do a little bragging about a remodel I helped my parents with. Imagine a kitchen from the 70's: burnt orange countertops, dark plywood cabinets, and nasty yellow linoleum flooring.

This is what we turned it into: removed a top cabinet to put in a pot rack and let more light shine through to dining area, painted and wood stripped the cabinets, new knobs, new laminate flooring, new apps, new countertops, new lighting and we used the cabinet we pulled for the dishwasher to construct a center island. All in all, I think we did a nice job for the budget we had.
In the living room there was paneling halfway up the wall, all around, and nasty, SHAG carpeting (again, burnt orange).

We painted and laid laminate plus did some decorating.
