Cujo's POB, Paintings of Babes
I haven't paitned much in the last 10 years, the last thing I painted was all of the Disney Princesses on my daughters wall, which I finished right before we moved out.
These are from about 13 years ago. I don't know about my painting, but my photography stinks.

Waaaay cool!
Almost Nagel-esque, if Nagel would have done fitness women that is...
I like the 3rd one especially. No not because it is a nude, but just the composition and shading....

Top 2 are "almost" Country Star....
When she was a bartender at a spot I use to go to.
Singing career didn't really take off, but she made a good Margarita.

Great Job! If you ever decide you wish to sell that second one, let little
ole Bravo know, would you? You did a nice job on the horse and that's a true
challenge.

Cujo, with your eye for proportions and apparent creativity, photography should be a natural for you. Many years ago, I attended a workshop with famed photographer Arnold Newman. He gave me a great piece of advice when asked how to become a great photographer. He told us all to take a lot of pictures, then to learn from what you shot, both what was done right as well as what needed improving. 30-40,000 photos later, I am starting to be pretty good. Too bad high quality digital photography took so long to develop. I could have saved a ton of money on film costs. With digital, you can shoot thousands of shots for minimal investment. Just pay attention to what you shot.

I couldn't get the first two pics . The nude is beautiful, Visigoth is right, you have a great eye for composition.
This piece sort of looks like a combo of a Lichtenstein and a Japanese wood cut print.
And your skills can easily pass to another medium, it's just learning what a new tool can do for you.

Thanks everyone.
Keep in mind that I've had no education in art and am self taught, so some of these comments are going right over my big bald head. But I thank you for the kind references. And when I get time I'm gonna look them up.
Here's the above mentioned Princess painting.
This thing was lifesize.

I work in different mediums.
This is my latest project. My daughters Halloween costume. Everything is handmade. The tail was hand sewn, by me and I made the rock she's sitting on. It has wheels so I could push her around halloween night. She every has an idea like this again, I'm starting early so I can make it motorized.

Nice Costume
Cujo,
I love the mermaid costume and the rock that you made for your daughter. Did the rock have a handle so you could pull it, or did you have to lean over and push her around? You are truly a talented man.
Keep up the good work!!!
