I use a Canon EOS 20D. I would also like to use this time to say, that Im looking to do a log more swimwear shoots. If anyone knows anyone wanting to model, or has any pointers, I'd love to hear them.

Have you tried looking through websites such as www.modelgraphy.com or www.onemodelplace.com? Websites such as this list models who are looking for work, and I am sure that it would be fairly easy to find models in your area that have listed on these websites and ones similar to them.

yeah... probably not the best that you keep doing that... we know you are here and who you are by now, as for the advice, check out model boards etc, there are always models looking for work, that are inexpensive to hire. Good luck with that.

I think that the point Mav is trying to make here is that sometimes you just have to have a little patience with a thread, as they don't always catch on right away. Be patient, keep sharing tidbits, and the thread will take off soon enough. In the meantime, have a look around the lounge, as that is where most of us interact on a regular basis, and get to know each other.
Keep in mind, too, that replies come in the form of reps just as often, and sometimes more so, than they do in the form of thread replies. You have doubtlessly noticed this, as your rep indicator has grown from zero to two square in just a few days. Not a bad start.
Part of the reason that there are few replies is that despite the existence of this part of the forum, I have come across relatively few members who are in any way familiar with photography. It may also be that some members are shy, or come here solely for fitness, to the exclusion of all else. Whatever the reason, don't take the lack of replies as an affront.
We're here, we see your posts, but sometimes we don't really have any knowledge to share on a given topic, and so instead choose to remain silent rather than run the risk of offending anyone.
Great work, though, and keep updating your website.

If you read the thread you would have seen that she does indeed read that stuff.
Please do not post things that offend or embarass our EF Babes.
I gave you a positive comment in your first post thread, so I'm not trying to harass or embarass you. I see alot on guys post here without using their brains. If I see something I like (your first post) I'll say I like it. If I see someone, especially a noob, do something I consider out of line, I'll say so.

*reads thread* hmm
Nice pics btw matt, im into photography alot and have been asking brands of cameras some of you guys use cause im trying to buy my own when i get the cash. Looked up some info about your cam on a popular digicam site dpreview.com saw some of the prices for that camera, quite expensive. I got the specs on it and stuff but I wanna know how do you like the camera? Was it worth the cash? Do you think its a good camera for semi-amateurs?

That's a pretty big step...Best of luck with that.
Good looking stuff here (first I've seen it), good mood and use of color.

Great pictures.
I'd also recommend setting yourself up a profile on onemodelplace, as I have. You can contact models, and they can view samples of your work. Some will even take the initiative to contact you themselves for TFP if they like your stuff.

Hi Matt, nice homesite. I do have one suggestion about your splash page....placing a black bar over your model's mouth signifies something completely different then *model* or *portraiture* photography. With just that one graphic you've managed to politicize your page, and may I add, polarize your customer base on intial view.
I'm not judging your intentions, I'm just pointing out the (my) impression given with your pilot imagery.
