Aaaaaaagh!!!!!
Tonight, I shot a wedding for a friend. I vowed I would never do such a thing, but he is a friend and that is what's friends do for each other.
I was a nervous wreck.
As the bride was marching down the aisle my Nikon lens crapped out. Focking thing almost gave me a heart attack.
The autofocus just up and died. Let this be a lesson to you. Always have a back up plan. Luckily, I had another camera with me, and I also quickly switched to the telephoto on my Nikon and got some terrific shots which saved my bacon.
Geeeman!! I think I would have prayed for a thunderbolt from above to end this worthless live, if I ever ruined my best friends marriage shots (In case I forgot the backup lens!)!! Nice to see, you kept a clear head and are still alive !!! :-))
