Portrait of my Sister-in-Law

This was my first attempt at portraits, so the lighting wasn't really good. I have since ordered some lights and learned how to do a few more things with the camera, but I thought you guys might like these. My sis and a couple of her friends are supposed to pose for some more either this weekend or next.

And here is one of my son. He was tired of helping me and really didn't want to do anything else, but I thought this one actually turned out pretty good for an impromptu shot.

very nice pictures..very soft artsy feel..but its not hard when the model is a beautiful lady...the one of ur son is awesome..basically sums up my day after work lol..u need to frame that picture n title it sumtin badass

These are some nice shots. I really like the first one; and the picture of your boy is priceless! I think everyone who has children will recognise his own kid.

This picture is really really good. I can't judge the 'artistry' or the 'quality' of the shot, but the picture is really cool. The girl is nice too

Wow thanks to all of you.

fRedEcs, it's actually my wife's sister. No lucky guy for her yet. I've told her that I have to approve of the guy first (not that my opinion really matters much). I've known her since she was 5, so she is like my kid-sister or even my own daughter. No one is ever good enough for her in my eyes. One of those deals where you have to remember that the kid is 19 now and not 9. Tough to do sometimes.

Thanks again to all of you. I didn't know the shot of my son would get so many positive remarks.

Doing another photo shoot this weekend, so hopefully have some more pics for y'all next week.

What's wrong with being a 33 year old internet geek? Damn, hold on (counting fingers and toes....ran out of own digits, and had to grab the kid's). Man, when did I become a 36 year old internet geek.

Nevermind, you still can't have my sister. That is, unless your incredibly wealthy and will pay me exorbinant amounts of money to do nothing. Then we may be able to make a deal.

BTW, it looks like I have several models that would like to do some photo shoots in the area. Should be able to start doing some cool stuff and keep y'all in the loop. At least I hope that is the case.
