Gman, Candy and the pickle

Has anyone else besides me noticed that Candy has changed his avatar?

Does anyone else think he looks like a pickle? Candied pickles?

He claims it is a goya. WTF is a goya? I had to look it up.

May 8 is known in Okinawa as a day honoring goya (go - five, ya – eight), a well-known and essential ingredient in Okinawan diet, especially during summer time. Goya is a vegetable that has been attributed with many advantages to human health. It has been a part of Okinawan culture for a long time.

The vegetable is called ‘goya’ in Okinawan dialect. In Japanese it is ‘nigauri.’ It’s English name is bittermelon, and that about sums up its taste. It is bitter to the extent that some people find it impossible to eat, and definitely can be called an acquired taste.

Impossible to eat? Mmmmmm.....sounds absolutely scrummy to me.

Gman likes Candy - both the person and the food. Now if Candy wants to be a pickle then that is just fine with me. Pickle boy it is.

Yah, it looks like the pickle is still out and about, although someone deemed fit to give him more swords to wave around in his Sake induced stupor, I dunno WTF they were thinking...

Anyways I have my ninja armor on, so Candy can bring it on... We will see how well the katana fares against my twin kodachi...
