prediction
I HOPE that the Steelers get their azz kicked. I'm so sick of all these bandwagon azz Steelers fans who "all of a sudden" have like the team for years, but just didnt cheer for them. Give me a break. Let the Seahawks have their moment.

Seattle in a walk. Steelers have had a good run but their matchups don't work against Seattle.

Personally they should take away the doctor's license, don't think he hit you hard enough.

Who cares about ratings?
I have a problem with people talking about whether this will be a high or low rated Superbowl. It seems like whenever there's a Championship matchup that doesn't involve a team from NY or LA, people start talking about how no one will care. Actually, since Seattle is the only NFL team in the entire Pacific Northwest, people in that region just might want to tune in... and last time I checked, the Steelers had one of the most rabid followings in the NFL. Bottom line, the only people that should really be whining about ratings are network execs, and quite frankly, it's the SUPERBOWL!! They'll still make more than enough money on it. If you don't want to watch, don't... but don't tell other people they shouldn't. This isn't a response to any message here, more of a rant brought on by some of the recent National stories.
P.S. Seattle by 3

This was an interesting read, just proves that ignorance can and probably will be bliss:

buzz
there seems to be less media buzz about this game. i guess cause new england isn't in it (again...) or the loveable bears (over-rated?) or one of the new york teams (yeah, right). why are the steelers favored? i guess it's because the afc has been the stronger conference. i think it's going to be a great game, with seattle winning. mack strong runs 99 yards as the clock runs out.

Steelers 24
Seahawks 20
Flashback to Rams vs. Titans, the Seahawks run out of time in the redzone!

Steelers will loose big
This should have been Carolina's year. But Seatle has too much for Pittsburgh, even if Big Ben is a better tackler than Hasselbeck.::

We in Colorado are still trying to recover from the pounding we received at the hands of the Steelers. They clearly seem to be the best team from the better conference so it looks to me like another one-sided SB, say, 28-7.

I wish I had put some money on this outcome back in November when I picked the matchup.
I still think the Steelers are going to win. They will dominate the first half and go up by two tds (17-3)... then in the second half they will play more conservatively and thats when the Seahawks will start to inch back in. Look for the Seahawks to take a page out of the Colts playbook and possibly go no-huddle for the 4th quarter. In the end, I think it will be Steelers 27 - Seahawks 17

I think Steelers 34, Seahawks 17. Steelers are executing really well and are a better team than their record indicates.
Grew up in Pittsburgh and while I haven't been there in over 20 years, still a Steelers fan!

I think people are expecting too much scoring. These are 2 of the best D's...
Hawks 17, Pitt 10
But that is just wishful thinking from a Hawk fan...

Steelers win
Bettis goes out a winner
and, to top that, Seattle loses the "12th man" in Texas A&M's lawsuit

I think Cowher has finally loosened up enough to win it all. The Steelers really showed something different when they kept passing against the Broncos. My guess is 31-23 Steelers.
