Athens Eurovision Song Contest Winner!!!
Finland is the winner of the 2006 Eurovision song contest held in Athens, Greece last night.
The band "Lordi" with a hard rock song won the contest!!!

and Lordi did wander down from Finland to Greece and brought with them make-up, hard (ahem) rock and platform boots
generally the old eurovision tends to be a pile of the vicars stained pants but Lordi were a welcome relief from all that poptastic bullcrap that comes with it everyyear. i was fortunate to be at the afters of a wedding when it won and missed the whole thing but i laughed my ass off when i heard. a friend of mine lives in Finland and sent me a link for their website yonks ago. if i find it oil post it
