Fitness Babes Section
Now ive kept quit and ignored the fact that people cant seem to follow the rules of the sticky clearly posted in the Fitness Babes picture forum. It clearly states
1) This section is for fitness models only; do not post celebrity photos, teen photos or images of random models you find on the Net.
now either im that out of the loop, but when i click to see a fitness model, i expect to see someone who is nice and fit, a competitor, some tone and definition. To my dismay, all i seem to see lately are some womens pictures who have done nothing more as far as fitness goes than have good genetics and a pair of tits and are moderately fit to say the least.
Does anyone even know the difference between a fitness babe/model vs some chick who is moderately hot with good genetics that got into a photo shoot for some mag or internet shot? Am i the only one who sees it this way besides the forum creator? I fell like im taking crazy pills

You´re definitely not crazy mate. I completely agree with you, too many glamour models who are barelly fit but have big breasts and little clothing. What's next? Paris Hilton?!

oddly enough that rule seems to have been followed to an extend, no celebrities.
If i wanted to see some random chick with a decent body fat % that allows her to look attractive, i could do any random search on the net or pick up any magazine on the planet and find one.
not to knock any of our EF Babes that are members here, but there are some who are pictured in that section who qualify as just that, and openly admit they do not attend a gym, nor have one in their home, just genetically blessed with high metabolism and a deceant frame.

I thought I should post this as a prelude:

A model doesn't have to have 6-pack abs to be considered "fit"; but it would be expected she would be toned. I'm not interested in looking at photos of 18 year olds with paysites - I can Google them all day long if I want them. Here, on EF, I'm interested in "fitness babes" who inspire me to workout and drop those next 5 pounds....
... the FB is for posting inspirational images of attractive and fit women.
There is no cut and dry explination that will fit every post; thats why we have Moderators and will apply our own standard of acceptible content. If a mod doesn't like it, so be it. Post enough crap and you'll probably be asked to post elsewhere.

This clarification is also included in the Fitness Babes forum rules (third post in the Rules.)
The forums here are "lightly moderated", as directed by FitnessPhotos. I moderate the FitnessBabes forum, and I try to apply a balance: lightly moderating, while also trying to preserve the integrity of the "no random models" but also the "inspire me to workout and drop those next 5 pounds" idea. We've always tried to stress quality over quantity when it comes to content in that forum, but we also don't want to come off as over-bearing and thereby discourage members from contributing - especially since the active membership is always evolving.
There are a couple of tools at your disposal if you feel a particular post or thread is inappropriate. One is the "Rate this Thread" tool, and another is the "Report Bad Post" button. And, of course, there are Private Messages, and the name(s) of the forum moderator(s) are clearly published in case you can't figure out who the moderators are. Moderating the forums here on Extremefitness.com is not a full-time job for any of us: we each check in from time to time, as our jobs and personal lives allow.
I hope this helps clarify the issue for you. As FP said, "we'll apply our own standard of acceptable content".
