Default Great workout plan!

  1. Move to the midwest
  2. Wait until winter
  3. Watch the snow fall for a day and a half
  4. Grab a shovel
  5. Shovel your driveway with perfect form
  6. Wait for extreme soreness the next day!
Anyone from north Texas, Arkansas, up through Ohio and beyond...you know what I'm talking about today!

i know exactly what your talking about!....lol
its amazing how the little things can affect your muscles. my daily chores seem to fire me up in other muscle groups i normally cant hit in the gym. also try splitting some wood for the fireplace 2.

When I moved from Minnesota to the DC area I remember I hated shoveling back in MN. that was a few years ago. Now that I've started working out, and losing weight and enjoy the soreness I was looking forward to going back this last Xmas.

Sure enough her lazy ass brothers just sat around playing video games all day. That's not a dig against her video games cause I love my video games more than they do, probably why I got into that industry. But they would not budge to go out in the "cold" or do "work" so I grabbed some pink gloves and a pink hat (all I could find) and went out there and shoveled everything.... felt soooo good to work the muscles after a week away from the gym.

Hey man,

We are getting nailed hard with snow in Toronto. Driving me nuts, I have shovelled like 3 times already. The sad part is, they said the worse is yet to come! Another 20-25 cm from now till tonight. Ahh. . .like the 10 cm that already fell isn't enough!

At least I got my workout in around lunch, and will probably be resting tomorrow, just changing up my normal routine.

Ya we got it bad in NE Ohio. In some city's police were handing out tickets for driving. I had a good old time drifting around corners, but wasnt to pleased all 3 gyms in my area were closed!

Shovelling snow is an awesome workout. I actually wish I would get some snow around here (not like you folks in the midwest, but 6-10 inches would be nice).

- Unfortunately (since it shortens my workout) by the time I get home from work, my neighbors would have already broken out the snow blower for my sidewalk and all I get to do is my driveway.
- Fortunately (since I only have to shovel for 1 hour instead of 2) by the time I get home from work, my neighbors would have already broken out the snow blower for my sidewalk and all I have to do is my driveway.

Double-edged sword, that snow-shovelling.
