I read in a theory about Obama's apparent disrespect/dislike of the Brits...
Something about his Kenyan grandfather having been mistreated (some say tortured) at the hands of the Brits during WWII. But that stuff is all from blogs so it's all speculation.

ok i firstly would like to suggest we stop using the word taxpayer money..because its gettin effin annoyin..ne time the gvt does sumtin the person oppsing them says " stop wasting tax payers money"...so lame i mean seriously there is a difference here n spending 800 billion dollars on a stimulus package n makin a lil effort to give a gift..cmon seriously? ur gonna say ur happy he gave him a bullshit package of dvds because it saves taxpayers money? how? the exchanging of gifts is a momentus occasion between 2 nations...obama wanted to come into the white house n make our relations wit other nations better...The world doesnt like the US? im gonna come in and talk n change that...restore our image i believe was another thing he said...soooo far ive seen him double our debt( in order to solve the problem we must spend more? not quite sure but ok) he fumbled the ball on gift giving wit our sole ally...
i ask u this question, when obama was at the wizards bulls game a week or 2 ago he was downstairs on the floor courtside...those r sum pretty expensive tickets, did we taxpayers pay for that ? i guess he wasnt too tired to go to the game...its ok tho, wit our economy goin down the tube its ok for our president to go to the basketball game rite? i mean when GW was on the golf course talkin bout the war in a movie that bashed him he was criticized n hated on, BUT when Obama goes, hes praised as bein one of the guys, such a cool president...its ironic, i cant believe it...its gettin ridiculous how much u all love this guy n make excuses for everything he does...people who supported bush atleast go against sum of his policies or things he did but Obama can do nutin wrong

Oh...I forgot...It's all OBAMA's fault now! How could I have misconstrued? What was I thinking all this time...Obama existed throughout the entire Bush Presidency for the past eight years, clearly the destroyed economy is on his head.
Poor Bush...only trying to help his rich buddies...leave him alone!
Rome wasn't built in a day...but our economy was destroyed in 50?
That, like all Limbaughian "idea's", is just scary stupid...

this is one incidents that u can not blame on Bush...Obama and his people dropped the ball big time here...blame the economy on bush if u want, blame the world hatin US because of Bush, thats all u guys do, u promise things n than when it doesnt work out u just blame it back on bush, its lame n for the last 60 days thats all thats been happening...obama promises stuff n than breaks em just blamin them on the former presidency...give me a break..obama and his people dropped the ball on this one...its common courtesy to bring gifts in exchange when invited places...these r the leaders of 2 nations in the world, its not a small house warming present...its much more political n has to be diplomatic...is it catastophic? of course not, would it have been betta if maybe we showed a lil more compassion in what we gave the poor guy...especially bein an allie of ours...its not the amount of the gift it is the thought that counts...too bad obama n his people didnt think too hard
