Facebook?
Anyone here do the Facebook thing? I know I am typically found there at night checking in with my friends and family. (Facebook junkie )
I thought it would be cool to maybe have an EF Group on Facebook or at least "befriend" some of my EF friends there. Just a thought...let me know what everyone thinks!

You could set up a social group for this site on Facebook. That would probably be the easiest way.

I think an EF Facebook group would be great. They're easy to set up and require virtually no maintenance.

I never quite see the point in Facebook... Those friends I want to talk to I will talk to, those I don't I won't. The only "social networking" thing I use is LinkedIn and even then it's mainly business contacts only, none of my friends are on there.
Is that a sign that I'm now "old"?

Never booked, kids do all the time. There pages are kinda cute. But i have to constantly point out that all the info is out there for anyone to see. I have daughters and am kinda overly protective, hopefully not too smothering. . ..

There's nothing wrong with being a bit over-protective, it's the internet and everyone's there. Many of my friends with kids do not allow them to use it, or if they do they monitor what info their kids are allowed to put out there. I.E. no names tagged on photos/no locations/schools/etc. Sure FB only allows your "friends" to view the pics but if they get hacked anyone can find all the information they want.
I use FB mostly to spread pics of activities with friends and family not living around where I'm currently at.
I do like Linkedin for business contacts though.

Don't get me wrong I will never regret the things I have learned or the friends I have made.
Time management was my problem.

Seems cool to me... I joined about 2 months ago, and just last week I went thru all my business cards and contacts from the past 10 years or so and added them as friends.
I gained 2 new clients this past week from doing that. So... boo-yah!!!

I spend some time there. Being an expat, it helps keeping in touch with distant family. My adopted family also lives a few miles away for now, so it's quite handy.
I knocked on Lyle's door, but no luck with Lady Amma
