a harder time than usual getting their breath when there is an abundance of
people in the gym consuming lots of oxygen?

It may explain why I'm an anti-social grumpy person when the gym gets a bit busy. I've always felt that I'm nowhere near as effective when lifting when there are too many others around.

I now prefer quiet times away from the peak times.

Especially when having to wait for someone to get off the equipment... Yeah, off peak hours are best to go work out... Get in, pump and then get out.

I've been working out at 6 am before work. except for the initial shock of getting up at 5:15 its been working great. . .

yea,early is always best ,less people ,more oxygen makes it easier to extract it for the
muscle cells,makes for better work outs ,better pumps,stronger.

I was the same way too when I used a commercial gym. People always thought I was in a pissy mood, lol!! Off peak hours is best.....setting yourself up at home.....sublime!
