Back from China (again)

Second trip was better than the first; mostly because my daughter went along on this ride. First class round trip (business for the kiddos) and a great 2 bedroom apartment made for a wonderfully enjoyable trip - two locations on the Great Wall, Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City, Ming Tombs and more. With the seasonal color change the Great Wall was quite the sight.

Add in the shopping and we must have looked like the Griswalds coming back through customs.

Very interesting city, although I much preferred Rome for getting around - we hired a driver for two days as everything requires you to drive to get to it (subway is okay, but the Great Wall requires 45-60 minutes of driving each way).

FP: do you know how to speak these foreign languages or do
you get a mediator or do they speak broken english in some parts?
