Heroin - still a great song; listened to it the other day. The first time I heard it I was 15 years old, sitting in front of a friend's giant speakers cranked up all the way; the album had just came out.

Can't believe I just thought of this for the first time in 20 years:
New Years Eve show 73-74, at the Academy of Music (might have been called the Palladium then). Stooges opened for the Blue Oyster Cult. Iggy fell into the orchestra pit during the second song. Each time he tried to climb out, he fell back in. Eventually he gave up and did the rest of their set while lying face down in the pit. Between every song he just chanted "I ain't got nothin" over and over.
It gets better. The previously unknown openning act was chased off of the stage by irrate concert goers after a few audience members received burns due to the malfunctioning of the band's homemade pyro-tech device. One FTV video of choice for the first person to name that openning act.
