Hemorrhoids can be just uncomfortable for the person with them, however, there are cases of really bad hemorrhoids that go beyond simple discomfort. Some times, but rarely, a hemorrhoid can burst, causing a lot of bleeding to occur in the rectal area. Unfortunately a hemorrhoid does not heal like normal skin problems because of the constant pressure and strain that the rectum is under just from doing the simple act of sitting as well as defecating. Treating bad hemorrhoids can be difficult as they may require immediate medical attention.
