Yes, I was glad to get to shoot with William. We actually got rained out so we took the shoot inside to shoot against a solid wall. For potential cover shots...so I can't post any as we are hoping for some covers. But I will be shooting with him again, and hopefully won't get rained out so we can get some cool beach shots.

My Latest News
What an exciting couple of months it has been! I have been quite busy and I am pleased to announce that I will be appearing on a television show called The Balancing Act.
The Balancing Act is an original, exciting, informative, half-hour, magazine-formatted television series, hosted by Dr. Wendy Walsh, Kim Alexis, and Kathy Peterson. If you are a woman who is juggling career and home, you want to get it right when it comes to health, family, finances and lifestyle. This is the show that informs, enlightens and shares solutions on how to be a success on both fronts.
I will be sharing a little bit about my story and background, and will give a few quick tips regarding working out right at home with minimal to no equipment needed!
The show will be on LifeTime Television, September 9, 2008 at 7:00 AM EST.

Ava,
Nice spot on The Balancing Act. Just got done watching it and you looked great! It was great to hear a bit more about the challenges you have faced and the strength you have discovered to overcome them! I think it is great to see you carrying the torch for fitness, bringing it mainstream on this show. I really think you "wowed" the hosts! They probably went home and did some serious cardio, lunges, and crunches that night!

Most people go on a show like that and are either all, rah-rah I'm perfect or, well..quite the opposite. Ava Cowan did neither, she maintained what seemed like a dignified and healthy realism and her message was great...to me it's basically, you don't have to be "perfect" to improve yourself in any way you choose to. The importance of that type philosophy cannot be overstated...

Received a pm from Ava today [offsite]... she said it's nothing personal, she loves it here at EF, but is under exclusive contract and is not allowed to post here anymore. Well that's a catch 22... she can't post here and we can't post her pics either. 
Well I still love ya Ava and I grab your pics when you post them ... and even though I can't share 'em here doesn't mean I don't still enjoy them and follow you.
If you check in here we still love you and appreciate all you have shared here through the years.

Well, she has her career to take care and I am happy that she has successful. I was one of the first ones to post on her thread. She had participated in the first competition and since she has made so much road. I am happy that she has reached some objectives and I hope she keep on reaching others.

Why would a magazine which by definition depends on selling copies (and subscriptions) as its sole economic lifeline and entire reason of existence want the very same pictures that drive subscribers to it to appear free on the internet, thus denting its own source of revenue?
Just as Sal Tessio said to Tom Hagen that it's nothing personal, but "simply business."
