Hi gossero,
It's very easy to use the search functionality here in EF. Follow the steps below every time you want to search for something:
1. Click on the "Search" word on the top menu next to "New Posts"
2. A drop down menu will be revealed then click on "Advanced search"
3. The "Search Forums" screen will appear
4. In the "Search by Key Word" frame enter your keywords and select from the drop down menu "Search Title Only" or "Search Entire Posts".
5. And then hit the "Search Now" button!!!
So simple!!! 
There are also more search options that you can use, like "Find Threads with", "Find Posts from", "Sort Results by" and some more!!!
