I'm surprised no one's done one on her. She's also known as blondechic, and has a ton of videos on YouTube.

I did my research and called up a judge friend of mine and got finally the worst news.

Amy Bates died in Dec. 2006 in a car accident, don't know any details about this but its 100% confirmed from a few other people I have talked to.

Let her rest in peace and I really would have loved to have worked with her. She probably had one of the best looks I have ever seen in my career and I have shot over 1000 models/competitors. She would rank top 10 if not top 5 from my opinion.

I post these to promote positive things about Amy... I did not know until today and had enjoyed her videos on youtube and other sites. She had a great sense of humor, was incredibly sexy and always expressed an extremely positive attitude toward life and other people. On a bad note some person is still running her paysite pretending she is still alive... updates as recently as September... sick person attempting to make a profit off her memory. This post is meant to be a positive reflection on Amy. I really like this first video a lot!! RIP Amy you are missed.

Thanks James for posting those video and anyone out there that has more photos and media or information please go ahead and post them. I on my end will find more on her, might go to Tampa Bay and even try to visit her grave and find more info on her. I will try to dedicate one of my next media projects in memory of her. I only talked to her thru email (I think it was her) and might have given her my card at a show.

On the other note I believe I have the name of the person who is running her site and I even have his cell number. I think this was an ex who helped her do all this and then they broke up in 2006 and had all the rights to her materials.

If she had signed release forms and all proper documentation regarding her site he has all the legal power to make money off her site if agreement says so. It may not be the right moral thing to do with someone that passed away and that probably they weren't together anymore to keep running her site. But if there was an agreement between them regarding the site then its all legal. I doubt there is any paperwork unless they were super business minded which in relationships most people aren't.

This has taught me a lesson today to appreciate everyone around me and all models I have worked and that I will work with. To cherish those moments with them as people not just models.
