Well thank you very much for your compliment! Tummy theighs and bum are definately my most self concious spot so you made my day completely
What you're saying about eating makes perfect sense, and I will definitely be eating more from now on. I think I am going to stay just under calories but I have found that by eating normally and just not eating junk you do that normally anyway That should give my body enough fuel (especially making sure a lot of the intake is protein) and make sure i dont put on anymore fat! I'm happy with that solution, and although I wont lose it as fast, I will definately be more healthy for doing it that way
I understand fitness models are models. And I'm not striving to look like linda, or kathy felman or tara scotti. I'm striving to look like me! A fit me and a me with an outside i can be as proud of as I am the insides
Its so cool, that for every time you fold your arms over your tummy cause you're self concious about it, theres a time when you get excited cause you have leg definition whenever you take a step! hehe So it ends up all positive!
It seems really silly now, eating that little and expecting my body to do what I was trying to make it! Thank you so much for your advice! You're right about absolutely everything! I'm going to go PIG OUT!!! kidding!!! hehehe
Tomorrow for brekkie I'm garna have a barbie mate.
*laughs* (I'm not really going to have a barbecue :P promise)

Aww sucks! It twas nothin'! Serioulsy, ever see any of those aerobic instructors that look just a bit overweight? The cardio queens. Ever wonder why they aren't any more lean or fit looking? No weight training and a crappy diet. Cardio will only get you so far.
Now, that doesn't mean it isn't important! 5-6 times a day is just overkill and I think you can do just as well by cutting back a day, at least. Overtaining can be very counterproductive.
And you look great. You really do. Keep up the hard work. It only gets better from here.

Very easy to do some exercise to target that area for fiming, like walking lunges, ham curls, single leg squat, sumo squat, and several butt exercises which I can get you a link too!

Amen to that, good for you and you look great!!!! Just being concious about your diet and training is great which puts you in a position to learn and grow, with no stress on yourself to be or look like anyone but you, fit and healthy!!! Well said!

I think you just want to restrict less and pay close attention to the types of quality of food chosen, known as clean........proteins like eggs, chicken, fish, meat replacements, cottage cheese are all great for eating a few times per day as are the fibrous veggies which are carbs but great ones to eat lots off, add in some orange veggies which are starchy carbs, beans on occasion like lentils, kidney adn black beans, brown rice, oats, yams, protein shakes for when you are not so hungry.......this will help your body do what you ask of it!
You seem to have a great head on your shoulders so I am sure you will do well with quick results!

Ah i did notice that aerobics instructors dont look lik fitness ladies, i figured it was just the weights thing but yeah, of course they're body fat percentage stays high cause they still eat crap! hehe
i cut down my cardio to 4 days a week half an hour (sometimes two sets of half an hour if i get up early enough :P AND i have a little portable DVD player on my phone so its really easy just to cardio away! hehe)
Why is overtraining counterproductive? my mum was an aerobix instructor and she learnt that you arent allowed to go over a certain bpm because then it becomes anaerobic instead of aerobic and that can be counterproductive. But i dont really understand how that can be... google isnt helping! not that i doubt what you're telling me or anything i'd just be interested to know
Hehe, it's hard eating more i feel like I'm not working as hard. Although eating well and eating more are two completely different things. And even though I'm not starving myself, can i still cheat every so often? like maybe last night i miiiight have had some red rooster chips :P
hehe
Thank you very much for saying i look great! You are very lovely

Hehe thank you! I hope so! Quick results always make you want to work harder restricting less and eating properly is so much easier then eating hardly anything. Not to mention having more energy and being happier! And I dont know what the weight I lost was when i lost it (must have been water) but I over the weekend i kept a watch on how many calories i took it and had some protein shakes and i even had protein bars after training (mmm, chocolate). I was under calories burnt ever day by liek 800-1000 cals still! (apart from one day where i went 42 over) but I'm now at 52 kilos! Which is heaviest I've ever been, and I'm kinda excited about it because i dont feel any fatter at all I'll do the home calipers tonight just to make sure! *nerves*
Being able to get advice from you and everyone else that has posted on here really helps so much! Imagine if i kept eating like that and getting no where! So frustrating! so thank you sooo much for your help and support!!
I wish i could send you all a thank you card!

To Italianangel said about targeting an area: she mean "for firming" or tightening. It is impossible to "spot reduce". Your body will lose fat in the order it is supposed to whether you like it or not. This is a biological fact that cannot be disputed.
So, you can "tighten" an area, but you won't see it if there is still bodyfat covering that area.
This is overtraining...(I'm too lazy to type out an explanation)

So i did home calipy thingies, i dont think its very accurate but now its saying 16%-17% body fat, which means i must have lost some fat! and i weigh more! WOO!
hehe ok so I've completely changed my diet
now it goes a little something like:
5:30am a weetbix and half a nana (if i eat more than that working out gets harder!)
6:00am-8:00am Weights-ness
8:30am Protein bar of yummy delights and love.
10:00am Rice crackers and tuna
12:00pm half an hour cardi-go
1:00pm Roast pork and beggies
3:30 more crackers and tuna
6:00 Fish fillet and beggies/ protein shake
10:00 sleepy time
so its going something like that!
according to cute little fit day program I'm still 1000 cals under what i boin and 109g of that is protein (which is pretty close to the 2g/kg that Adonis was talking about.
I WILL BE BEEFCAKE IN NO TIME!
WOOO
hehehhe

Holy Cow, Gymgirl...is this what you do everyday? Two hours of weights and 1/2 hour of cardio? Now, that sounds SERIOUS.
You look great, too, it's certainly paying off.

Congrats, gymgIrL! With your determination, you will see some super results. Using the calipy thingies is a good idea-- be careful with using the scale-- you will find that muscle weighs a lot. No need to be too nervous about it. Go with how you look and how you feel.
It sounds like you are feeling a lot better, as well. I am excited for you-- keep us updated on your progress!
(Perhaps I too should try a weetabix in the morning as a workout enhancer . . .)

Very positive. Not only does a fit body look great, but staying strong and healthy gives both men and women a good shot of confidence. I have heard rumours that men generally find confident women to be attractive . . . you might want to be on the lookout for doughboys . . .
