4 Weeks out???
Hi ,
I need some clarity on something. What is peaking? I plan on competing this year and I still have lots to learn. Last yr I was told that I lost down to quick and still needed to be in the building muscle phase. I still have no idea of how long to do what, I do have a considerable amount of weight to lose and im not sure like u are, You are so confident about how much you and lose and how long it will take u. 6 week, 15lbs? I would be freakin!! Like i was last yr. I was down to 139, still needed to lose but I guess i needed more muscle.
Can u help me to know how this works? I do know that I can carb cycle and that does work but when do i start the losing process?
HELP
Thanx!!

Thanks.
I did one in 2001, 2 actually, for fun too, like this one but I am probably getting leaning this time around compared to that time, my legs are showing better.
I am going to go hard this week with extra cardio. I get to carb up soon.
Pre contest diet lasts 2-4 months and varies all the way through from there to end.
At this point I am on nothing but 3-4 shakes of protein and water per day, and 2 cans of tuna, special order tuna, rinsed. 6-8 TBs Udos oil and some herbal diuretics which I began last week.
Last week I still had some green veggies but not lots.
The week prior to that I still had some sweet potato.
So that would account for the last month anyway.
I dropped oatmeal for shakes a month ago. Still eat some nuts.
Linda

Sorry, thought I did that already......
Thanks!
Well I did decide to do this a bit late so I got 2nd in my lightweight class and we got 1st in pairs.
2 or 4 or more weeks of work and we both would have done better, and my client was very dogged, she was not in top 5 and deserved it but the politics can be very sad and this show I thought she at least was 4th or fifth with her balance of size and tone but they chose so abstactly, one gal who was 4th was a bodybuilder and the other a skinny minny fitness gal who should not even be placed in either as she represents anorixic looking and will make girls think they need be 90lbs to compete and that is wrong, but mosly the idea of such a condtradiction in choice within top 5 was bad and then to tell them alst minute that they would not do routine if not top 5 meanwhile her friends paid to come watch at night....very sad.
I am waiting for pics actually, to post in the 4 week out thread but they are not here yet! Because I lost so much so fast and been lazy since 2004 contest, my back end did not firm up enough in time and my tris did not lean enough even so my legs did lean up to see defined quads a tad........anyway 2 mths was all I gave myself to get ready on this one too so I am happy.

I know my quads showed more cuts that you see here so when I get the pro shots I can look for a better one to post.

Thank you very much, Linda and congrats!
I think you look wonderful. It is sad that those judges had some sort of (biased)agenda when judging. Very nice pics, and I think the first one is outstanding! Can't wait to see the others.

It was intense but what better way to kick your butt into gear hey? It was for fun to so I was not to upset about being not lean enough, kinda expected that considering timing but I had a blast!
