Nov.10.07 Backstage with Linda!

Prairiefitchick.......I think thats her ID, Rona and I were both competing in the Figure for the Nov show where I won Fitness.
We were put in medium which was not our category, we were both under 5'4" which is short but anyway, Rona has a kick ass build and between us 2 EF gals, I got 6th in Figure medium where there were 12 competitors, and she got 7th place.
This other lady in the pic and gal, they are mother and daughter, mom competing in Figure masters and I don't recall her placing but both her and her daughter who competed in junior fitness, both got trophies I think!
Rona and I veered away from the crowds of women in the other dressing rooms and waiting out in the junior dressing room since they were first on and then left the room so it was nice, just us 2 with another great gal Kaitlin, who was the fitness junior (in the shot with me and Rona). Her mom came and said hi once and awhile. Kaitlin was a doll to have with us, she was so supportive to us all and always ready to help, with a great attitude and sportsmanship!

Another great lady who we did not get a pic with, Suki I think was her name, she came in and would practice some posing in our room too.........just a small group of us and it was nice, peaceful with good energy, where as the other dressing rooms were tense, busy, full, no space and not quite as friendly of an atmosphere.

Awwwww, you are a DOLL for posting those pix! I was grateful to have spent that time with you that weekend, I speak the world about you to everyone over here, and now I can FINALLY have a picture to show them how great you looked! I will be starting my own journal here this weekend. I decided I AM going to do that show in my province in April... 19 weeks away. Lots of time to fine tune things!

Anyways, thanks again for posting those pix! Brings back some great memories.

Way to go Rona, that rocks!!! Our little journal section sure it growing and I just love all the motivation and support!! I cannot stress enough how much the support helped me get to the end result of my prep!
I met with PVL Wednesday and they are so cool, I cannot wait to start working with them on ads and promo! They mentioned an announcement of my sponsorship in some magazines!! I cannot wait!

Nice pics, Linda! You looked amazing at this show, and after following your diet and workout regimen for this past year, I think you certainly earned the win.

PrairieFitChick, welcome to EF, and congratulations on your placing at the show! You looked phenomenal at the show with Linda as well.

That's convenient that three of you had a room to yourselves backstage. At my show I just did, I had to get ready, oil up, and pump up in a medium-sized room with 50+ guys. So as you can imagine, it got a little crowded in there.

yeah I have had some odd venues to deal with too, but this was nice.
I am very happy, but want to come in fuller next time too, but just as lean. I know that is what they want and for Figure especially.
