you know how the first thing you said was to have your legs apart then arch your back - that works awesomely! but i cant hold myself there, i have to have an arm behind me - is that still ok?
I stretched for 20 minutes last night and I feel so much more loose already! After one day! And I've been stretching for about a month... wrongly obviously

Yes use the hand to help and keep working the crotch forward! If you have a person around, have them put their knee agains the small of your back with hand on mid back, lift chest and head and slowly steady pressure.
