boobs.....
I'm really interested in getting into fitness competitions and modelling....but before I do, I'm interested in getting a boob job. Does anyone have any suggestions in where to start looking for info??? I'm located in Toronto.

Have any of your friends had augmentation surgery? I don't know that area, but be sure to do your research before settling on a doctor.

First of all... is this something that is absolutely necessary?? I personally think that some fitness competitors look a bit strange if they have had a boob job and that it may not fit. But I know that women - probably like yourself- get their body fat so low that they lose the majority of their breasts. Just something to think about I guess.
But if you do it, check out the doctors credentials, previous work, and don't get the weekly special- spend some money and have it done right...

Hello there! I'm looking at exactly the same thing Where I am theres limited doctors anyway! so I did my research on incision site placement... blah blah and worked out what i wanted and then looked for doctors that mentioned that they did those things. Then I made 4 appointments with four different ones and I'll chose the one that makes me the most comfortable!
DONT go with the first guy you see. Seriously, the first doc i saw was a complete tosser and just wanted me to chose what was easiest for him.
Go with your gut feeling!
Also look on the internet, here is a link to a ladies journel that went through it that I'm reading right now!

I have no idea......I am natural and intend to remain so, it really does not make that much of a diff but more for your own personal pleasure.
I have many people think I am fake but its all illusion, how you PROP them up!!
I have a few clients who have done this but not in the EAST, I do know a few DR here in the West that my clients used.
If you have the money and really want it, go for it but don't do it for the contest, I am triple pro in Fitness and Pro in Figure going for my 4th Fitness Pro card and 2nd Figure pro card.......all done with my old saggy C-D boobies!

A friend of mine had augmentation surgery and the doctor did a terrible job. Luckely she was sent to a very good doctor to correct his mistakes. She has a lot of scars now
If you do have augmentation surgery, see if you can get some references from previous patients.

If you ever get out to California (I know probably a long shot) but I would recommend my doctor. He had to correct my first boob job but I am very pleased with his work. His website is http://www.ideallook.com and name is Dr.Shamoun. He has also done a few of my friends as well. Free consultation and if you go tell him Crissy Moran sent ya!!!
Good luck!
Crissy

What others have said here is very good advice. Research the hell out of it, get feedback from clients & go to as many doctors for opinions as possible.
I have a few friends that have had it done & are very happy they did it.
I've seen some interesting programs on breast augmentation. The lastest I saw, they made the incision at the belly button & went up just under the skin to place the implants. Zero scarring.
Well, whatever you do, Good Luck.

I echo Crissy's recommendation. He seems to be excellent at his job!
It's definitely better to go for someone with good personal references than someone who appeals on a price basis. Basic and obvious advice, i know, but i've seen several go wrong and a personal reference seems to be the most reliable way to go.

To the OP: if you choose to get an augmentation, please make sure it is proportional to your body dimensions, height specially. Don't get them too large for your height. Proportion is everything.
Also, I would say to contemplate getting one after reaching a certain level of fitness. That way, you will now how you will look with the implants when you have achieved a certain level of leanness and muscular development.
I'm saying the later assuming you are starting to be into fitness. Body dimensions and appearances change (sometimes dramatically) with workout. So, if you are starting into fitness, don't do it now. Do it later (and please make it proportional to your height.)
Whatever you choose, good luck and please keep up posted how it went (doctor search, choices of implants, procedure, etc.)

Since you live in TO (as do I). Who ever you choose PLEASE DO NOT USE LAFONTAINE!!! My friend went there and was butchered and even when they put her back under to fix it (2 times) they not only charged her more but made it worse! She also met a number of other females who were trying to sue for bad augmentations, in the waiting room (no word of a lie). Apparently LaFontaine has a long list of unsatisfied customers.
Whom ever you do choose, please do some research first!
