Omaha Steaks

Today was my sister's 26th birthday. And so, in celebration, we were going to go to Benihana's.

Recently, however, and Omaha Steak store opened up not too far away from where I live, and so we decided to try some steaks from there instead.

We bought the bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and spent close to $120 dollars for eight of them.

Now, I cannot deny that they were absolutely the BEST steaks I have ever had.

I am simply curious as to whether or not anyone else has had any experiences with Omaha Steaks, and if there are any other great steak places that might not be so hard on the wallet.

used to work there, like I boxed your food and shipped it to you kinda worked there, yeah, they are the best steaks for the money, but you really don't want to make bulk purchases unless you are dealing with an agent... call the 800 number and get some special pricing, or check out the website, there are deals running all the time. Can samoone PM me with some web sait's with recipes for steaks and other foreign meals - becouse I can't find.
I search for testy things.
I use google - but he can't find nothing good.
I mean recipe+fotos = best menu - you know how

They certainly cost a pretty penny, but they are well worth it. We went all the way and bought the bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and I tell you, I thought that I had died and gone to heaven. I just wish I could actually afford to do that more often.

I know that the Omaha Steaks website has some great recipes.

I am sure that these are just a few. Take a look through the forum, and you will find all sorts of great recipes, not only for steak, but for just about everything you can imagine. I am sure that Borders and Barnes & Noble have some good recipe books as well.

Manfred Man is one the best cooks out there, and has posted more great recipes than I can count. Doughboy is also quite the culinary master, and I am sure that he has heard of a few good recipes.
