Default My recipe for a healthy yogurt

You know that yogurt with all of that nutra sweet and splenda crap in it? Well, here's a healthier way.

All you need is a quart of plain yogurt, either non or low fat, put some in a bowl and add a tablespoon of jam or preserves. (I suggest the organic kind) Stir and eat. No, stir and enjoy; it really tastes great, and good for you too.

Just did that last night! Full fat organic yogurt, a teaspoon of no sugar added apricot preserves a tablespoon of flax meal and some cinnamon...who needs all that sugar and preservative crap in yogurt? Or jam, naturally sweet and a wee bit tart is just fine.....I don't use preserves or jam as often as I use frozen or fresh berries mashed up...

My mom likes to buy the low fat low sugar yogurts from yoplait, but the second main ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. I'm going to have to try this.

that's what i should try, fresh or frozen fruit instead of jam or preserves.

the bad thing about a lot of jam is the high fructose corn syrup which for a long time i thought was good for you because of the word fructose in there.
