Help ! I need nutrition advice !
Hey guys
I need to get some advice on what to eat during the day... I'm pretty much desk bound and have a 45 minute lunch break.
I start work at 08h30, end at 17h00. I then rush off to gym at about 18h00 and train till about 19h30. I get home at about 20h00 and only normally eat about 20h30.
I currently have oats for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch (normally tuna), and a protein bar before I leave work.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

it really depends on what your primary goals are weight loss weight gain etc. either way you should eat healthy foods such as you described and add peanut butter and other natural high protein food for fuel. providing your not allergic to peanuts. you should check out a post adonis made on caloric intake calculator i believe is what it is refered to but not positive at the moment and sorry im really unsure as to wich thread he posted it in. but it was a very informative thread, very usefull.

Without alot more information (height/weight/body comp, if weight's going up or down over the last months/years, age, gender, etc) it's going to be tough to give too many specifics.
I will say, though, that you're probably going to have to eat a ton more (assuming you're slender) - mid-morning snack, and probably two more in the afternoon. Like wildstang said, peanut butter's always a classic. I snack on dried fruit, chicken breasts, regular fruit, nuts, sushi - pretty much whatever I can find (but I'm slender, and have a crazy high metabolism). But don't just start adding in food all pell-mell - try to eat with a purpose.

yeah im pretty much in the same boat. Im 23years old 6 feet 1 inch about 285. I have a desk job to i work from 9-5 then come home and go to the gym on Mon. and Wed. On Tues. and Thurs. it varies becaus i have football practice sometimes i will go to the gym for a hour before practice other i just want to relax before practice then on Sat i have games.
My diet consist of alot of chicken (any form i have bought ground chciken to make burgers and chicken meatballs), frozen vegetables, trail mix, fruit, and salads. I try to stay with healthy food, the time i find it hard to eat healthy is the weekend espically after my game because i am so tired and so hungry i tend just eat anything. I am looking to cut weight i have found it a little more difficult to lose weight recently. Since May of last year i have lost roughly 80 pounds. i went from 360 now down to 280 area would ultimately like to get to around 260. I havent actually tracked my calories lately to get specifics but i tend to take in around 1500-1700 calories a day.
what are some good things to have at work to snack on and any ways to kick start the weight loss agin.

Egg whites, protein shakes, and fresh fruit are great.
As dull as it is celery is like negative calories, much on that as long as you can stand it and you'll feel full while burning off the pounds.

I'm not sure what my U.S measurements are...
Height: 1.9m
Weight: 90kg
Bodyfat: 21% (last time i checked was about 3 months back)
i think i'm going to start taking salads to work or just fresh vegetables in a lunch box or something, my 1.5l water bottle and some fruit and nuts. and the occasional protein bar.
i really want to get into a routine, and start making some serious gains.

This daily calorie intake is very low for someone of your bodyweight...
