Default Homemade Turkey Sausage

1 lb lean ground turkey
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
3/4 tsp ground sage
1/4 tsp dried marjoram
1/4 tsp dried savory
1/8 tsp ground ginger
pinch of ground cloves
pinch of ground red pepper
1/8 cup cold water

Using hands, knead and squeeze the mixture until well blended. Form into patties or cook loose.

Use pam, or other 0 cal cooking spray, if your diet allows, use a spoon of evoo. Cook 1 patty first and taste. If you like it hot and spicy, add more ground red pepper into the mix and try again.

Based on Foster Farms Lean Ground Turkey + above spices
Serving 1 4oz patty
Calories 161 cal
Fat 7.4g
Protein 22.2g
Carb 1.7g
fiber .9g

use a napkin to soak up the remainder of the turkey grease to lower the fat a tad more.
This is much much lower than anything you can find frozen or otherwise in a grocery. Most are near 20g of fat per serving, and its not 4oz.
